But for governments to implement strong digital economy strategies, there has to be real investments in the research, education and innovation sectors.

Without the involvement in all of these three elements, the necessary economic and social agendas cannot be achieved.

The necessary educational investment into basic research and skills are required if society is going to deliver the most innovative products and solutions into the marketplace.
